bermekemerdekaan-merdekaan

Tse Han stayed over on Merdeka Eve and while everyone was sleeping(I had to study), I placed 3 flags in lokasi-lokasi strategic, kerana angin monsun timur laut dilindungi oleh Sumatra, oleh itu Selat Melaka diminati ramai pedagang asing..........

OH yes, our dinner!

Everyone was sick. Look at the Nin Jiom Pei Pah Gou at the end there. HAHA!

Tightest space to take photos award goes to Wing Loong. But who cares!! THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY.........

This is my first time ordering FRESH STEAMED FISH in Melbourne. You have no idea how excited Tse Han and I were. We just wanted an occasion as an excuse to order this. SO GOOD! I miss Menjalara food.

On Merdeka day itself, Tse Han, Rachael(aka Mohan) and I went to Federation Square, expecting something explosive, something exciting, happening, filled with FOOD stalls, but to our disapointment....

All we got was baju tradisional, seni pertahanan diri tradisional, tarian tradisional, nyanyian lagu Siti. Okay la, but the fact that we got Fed Square was pretty cool. Pity we couldn't get some health license thingy to serve food. So it was boring. We left for lunch. Can't believe I didn't take photo with Mohan. IT RAINED LA...

This was probably the most interesting event of the day....

OMG I used to play this with my sisters all the time. But not with rubberbands. I guess we had a few ringgit to spare to buy real tali lompat's. And and and, got somersaults and all sorts of weird moves wan ok! Ahhh... Good times!

"feet"uring..

I was having a lot of feet cramps with my silly flat soles ok? A little retail therapy never hurt anyone. Moreover, 2 of my shoes are so "hole-y" already! And these are from factory outlets! But I'm lovin' em! This is my first pair where I actually feel VENTILATION, like ACTUAL WIND blowing into my feet!

"did you ever know that you're my heeeee-ro?.....you are the wind between my toes...."

I feel so protective over them but I know some day, they'll get dirty. I just have to let go. Sniff..

I would also like to officially announce that my blog is MOBILISED! Use you iPod touch, iPhone, N-series, WHATEVER, and log on to

ahxiong.mofuse.mobi

That's two front teeth for you, on the go! It's been a while since I've set it up, just never had the chance t announce it. As you can see here, it still uses the old header.

I'll be blogging about my little merdeka dinner with Tse Han and Ruwan soon, hang on! :)
